Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea – June 11, 2025 – Lecturers from the IT Department of Port Moresby Business College will benefit from a donation of ten new laptops thanks to Kumul Minerals Holdings Limited (KMHL).

These laptops will assist lecturers deliver high quality digital learning materials and enhance student learning in class.

Mr. Derek Kuripa Bigiglen acknowledged KMHL’s support, saying the integration of technology in education is vital for ensuring that the Port Moresby Business College’s curriculum aligns with industry standards.

“With improved access to laptops, our academic staff will be able to conduct research and integrate the latest technological advancements into coursework. This donation will facilitate interactive and hands-on learning experience for students and improve administrative and assessment processes,” s/he added.

KMHL Managing Director Sarimu Kanu, said by equipping teachers with the tools they need, we are contributing to a more effective learning environment for the students.

“Supporting education initiatives like this is important to KMHL because we believe it contributes to improved education outcomes,” he said.

This donation demonstrates KMHL’s efforts to support education and invest in the country’s human resources.
